Beauty Comes in Many Forms and Stories

Our luckily crazy schedule ( and lost photos in my lost iPhone) has had me remiss in blogging. I had wanted to share all the amazing photos of the Brooklyn Botanical Garden on Mothers Day. Every thing is really in bloom at once and I still recommend going ASAP because the wisteria, the lilac, the lily of the valley, the tree peony, the wood hyacinth, maybe even the tulips along with some lasting cherry and dogwood will be still be out . And I don’t want to forget the  ferns along the pond and the Shakespeare Garden.

This story in the NY Times made me stop my morning and want to share. This woman is such an inspiration. I hope she gives you the same feeling it gave me.

The headline of the story  and link is A College Degree, 55 Years and in Era in the Making

I haven’t even read the entire story but the first paragraph said enough to stop me in my tracks, thank you  Burlyce Sherrell Logan for the inspiration and the NY Times for writing about her.
