Transitioning into Fall

Every year I feel a bit stunned that summer is over. Not like I don’t know it’s coming or hasn’t come every year but it’s how I feel.  As the nights get cooler and I reach for my favorite, albeit a bit worn, mohair blanket ( my first cherished home purchase in Paris from Modenature) and my new favorite tea mug my assistant Ashley Taraban just got me from ABC Carpet I start to feel the fall satisfaction of all good things fall. Hikes in woods ( some you see need a little lift from time to time, gorgeous greens found in the green market ( PURPLE MUSTARD!), and the warm glow of  fall events.
