Winter Weddings

Sorry for the absence, I  had family or better yet an 11 year old niece with me last week, too much fun and not enough computer time. Seems like a strange topic now but I have been finalizing plans with fall brides and next come winter brides. Plus with all the heat and humidity of this New York summer it’s nice to dream ( and I emphasize the dream part) of winter or at least cooler weather.

This is one of my favorite simple winter weddings, a few simple elements with candlelight and the great views of Battery Park Gardens. For the ceremony we mimicked the bare branches of the surrounding gardens by using quince which also provided us with some white flowers.

Congratulations to the couple in the photos who just had their first child!
