Falling In Love Again

Sorry for the absence but I have been very busy falling in love again. I am mad for flowers all over again. Spring is a time for renewal so my timing is perfect. I have been near giddy with some of the flowers this spring as I work with them. The petals, the textures, the colors and ohhh the fragrance.  I know my blog has been flower heavy but I work with flowers and it is spring! In New York we are having quite the spring from 88 one week to frost advisory the next. We have had  heavy rain but also some incredibly clear, cool, perfect days and the flowers have really been especially beautiful on those days.  Below are a few of my favorite recent flower arrangements and since we are in love, I got a bit intimate with some of the flowers. Maybe some of you who are more conservative will feel its flower porn but I hope you can loosen up enough to enjoy.  I have attached a link to a chart with the meaning of these and other flowers as well. In this list are links to information on the flowers shown including, peony, hydrangea, azalea, tree or rock peony, sweet peasviburnum, and Scabiosa.

Peony - A bit shy this one

Hydrangea

Azelea

Clients Dining Table

Sweetpea and Viburnum

Tree Peony - different from others in how it grows and how long it lasts

Pale Green Carnation - don't shun them anymore - look at how the petals glisten just a bit

Garden Rose usually plenty of petals and very fragrant and make you weak in the knees

Scabiosa
