Beauty in a Glance

I really do believe beauty is everywhere. We can choose to see it or not see it. Life dishes out difficult times but we still grab beauty in nearly any moment. This photo is of my aunt. Its was taken once the majority of family left after my uncle’s funeral. We were celebrating his 99 well lived years. As my aunt went to pour more champagne I noticed how beautiful it all looked. Her suit was textured and unfortunately you can not see that in the photo but the pleats in her shirt, her ruffles at the cuff, the champagne bottle and her still elegant long fingers, just stroke me as so beautiful in that moment. It’s all around us in many ways.
