Mesmerizing Texture

I think as long as I live no matter how many flowers pass thru my hands, and there have been thousands, I will always marvel at them. Each one is so incredible. Yesterday while waiting to set up a job my assistant Ashley had the idea to photograph some of the flowers we had worked with. We had used   of tete a tetes and the fragrance alone was making us weak in the knees but when you looked at each flower they were each so incredible. Here is a collection of both of our photographs, mostly poppies but also some ranunculus, hydrangea, and poppy stems under water (the water bubbles sticking to the hair on the stem..makes me crazy in a good way). Just look carefully at these flowers, it seems like never-ending texture. Some are life-like, while other surreal, not knowing too much about the camera it was   of playing with the flash and what angle light was coming from ( I think !).
