Great Music, Sets and Clients All rolled into ONE!

This afternoon my assistant Ashley and I were lucky enough to be treated to dress rehearsal tickets to the Metropolitan Opera’s production of  Giuseppe Verdi’s, La Traviata. One of our recent brides Sarah Meyer’s who’s wedding we featured in an album on Facebook is the stage director for this upcoming production. We hit it off with Sarah from the start and it was great to see her working her magic.

While I have seen the production before, it was incredible to sit so close rather than our usual bird’s eye view. As soon as the curtins opened we both gasped when our eyes feasted on the set by Franco Zeffirelli. My eyes kept bouncing back and forth from the rich set and backdrop to similar colors in the moving fabrics of the performers. It was never ending joy for the eyes which also brings us to James Valenti’s met debut … also a joy for the ears. He plays Alfredo Germont to Angela Gheorghiu’s Violetta Valery who sounded beautiful.

It was a great afternoon and we are so grateful for our wonderful client!  Thank you Sarah!
